Overview
The Side Navigation allows you to move seamlessly between the key functional areas of your site. It provides quick access to the tools and content types available to you, helping streamline your workflow. The supported options include:
Workspaces - flexible environments designed to help you organise and manage your content. They offer a modern way to structure your work and, with widget functionality, allow for a personalised experience for both individuals and teams. The workspaces shown in this section are those you own or have been explicitly shared with you.
Modules - function like database tables, each designed to store a single type of information, such as products, projects, contacts or marketing campaigns. Every module follows a defined structure or schema, with fields configured to capture consistent data across all records. Modules can include various content types, including structured business data and media files. The options visible in this section are those enabled within Module appearance → Side Navigation → Show in Side Navigation.
Hours App - a dedicated extension designed for seamless time tracking and management. It operates through six core modules: projects, jobs, tasks, work logs, users and teams, ensuring precise and organised time entry. However, the Hours App is flexible and can be reused within any configuration to fit your specific time management needs.
Creative Automation Studio - a purpose-built extension for generating media creatives at scale. It leverages web-to-print templates and variable parameters to automate the production of multiple creative assets, streamlining high-volume media generation.
Global Search - enables keyword-based searching across multiple specified modules, helping you quickly find relevant information from different areas of the system in one place.
Notifications Panel - displays in-app notifications to keep you informed about important updates such as mentions, reactions, and comment replies, so you can keep up-to-date without leaving the application.
Background Jobs Panel - every Encodify configuration has crucial tasks that need to run in the background to ensure any number of jobs get done to keep the application running smoothly and to allow users to continue to enjoy an engaging experience, without it grinding to a halt every time it needs to do something extra. The Background Jobs queue provides greater visibility over the progress and completion of these processes, with the possibility to navigate to the result of the job execution.
Resource Centre - serves as a central hub for accessing guides, announcements, support options and key resources such as release notes, documentation, and blogs.
Configuration - contains shortcuts for administrators to access Site Configuration, System Configuration, Automation Rules, Workflows, Field-to-Field Mapping, Apps Library, User Management and Themes.
User Options - clicking the profile image opens a menu with shortcuts to Edit Profile, Change Password, Switch User, and Sign Out.
