New Capabilities & Feature Improvements

AI

Note: AI enhancements are fully governed by your existing agreements, meaning no supplementary contractual addendums are required. Your data is processed transiently and is strictly not used to train, retrain, or fine-tune any foundational AI models. For comprehensive details regarding data security and compliance, please refer to the full document available at http://trust.encodify.com.

  • The Data Extraction rule allows users to extract structured data from an item and its related linked modules using an external GenAI service, and write the result back into specific fields on the item. Unlike the Assessment Rule, which produces a free-text assessment and a confidence score in fixed fields, the Data Extraction Rule lets the user define which target fields to populate and a prompt that guides the AI on what value to extract for that field.

  • Note: The Data Extraction is licensed as an add-on, available to Professional & Enterprise package subscribers.

Other Improvements

  • Manage Modules

    • We are bringing information closer to where action happens. In this release, we started to expand the Manage Modules capabilities in order to facilitate navigation and access to important configurations. Therefore, information about module creation is now available from the Main UI module list, as well as improved sorting, refined default filters, and ensured the view aligns with module configuration access.

  • Scheduler

    • Added scheduler job status to the scheduler page in System properties. Improved logging for scheduler jobs to mitigate silent failures.

Breaking Changes

Decomissioned

  • API cleanup

    • Removed two unused, deprecated endpoints: GET /rest/users/{id}/groups/users and GET /rest/users/{id}/groups

Perfomance & Architecture

  • Quality of Service

    • Optimisation to minimise application restarts - Improved handling/diagnostics of downtime scenarios to make root cause clearer.

    • Fixed a bug that caused the module to lock during scheduled item deletion. Added structured logs for the deletion process to avoid this issue.

Bug Fixes

  • AdBuilder

    • Restored bold/italic/underline options in AdBuilder rich text where configured.

  • Automation Rules

    • Fixed dark mode visibility for the default “Formatting Example” text in the formatting rule config.

    • Resolved issue causing an exception in the rule configuration for modules with a selectbox field on top of the field definition list.

  • Briefing

    • Fixed deletion of “Product on Briefing” in configurations where a module link to Price has “Delete referencing items on parent removal” enabled; deletion flow now tolerates already-deleted/missing items and exits safely.

    • Fixed page numbering when using the property “Renumber Pages” to add correct spacing.

  • Calculations

    • Fix to ensure text calculation field formulas using nested functions are saved and evaluated correctly

  • Comments / Proofing

    • Fixed proofing comments being truncated with no way to view full content.

  • Creative Automation (CA Print)

    • Fixed “Select All” behaviour so bulk selection is scoped to the visible/request-linked items rather than the entire module.

  • Dark mode

    • Fixed hardcoded link colour in column filters so it uses theme variables (correct in both bright + dark mode).

  • Email Inbox (Connected Service)

    • Added properties isolation for sites with multiple Email Inbox connected services.

  • Time tracking (Hours)

    • Fixed inconsistencies where running timers could remain visible or reappear incorrectly after inactivating/reactivating entries or changing the “Running” field.

    • Fixed timesheet behaviour so module-level time-entry/timer availability options apply only at item view level (not the Timesheet view).

  • UX

    • Reduced “save button blink” that could cause missed clicks, improving reliability of single-click saves.
