Note: Users must be a System Administrator to be able to manage Sites.
What is a Site
A Site is a distinct configuration within the Encodify System Configuration that is accessible to users via a dedicated web address. Sites allow organisations to tailor the Encode system for different audiences, departments, regions, or business units, while still maintaining a single underlying system.
How to Create a Site
To create a site, follow these steps:
Navigate to System Configuration → Sites → Site List
Click the Create Site button on the toolbar.
In the Create Site window, enter the site name and contact information.
Define the date format and number format for the site.
Switch to the Appearance tab and configure the following:
Skin — Choose from system or custom skins. (For custom skins, see the Custom Skins chapter.)
Note: Only applied in Classic / Retail UI.Toolbar logos — Upload
.jpg,.gif, or.pngfiles for left, right, and central logos.
Note: Only applied in Classic / Retail UI.Login page — Select a system or custom (user-defined) login page. (For details on custom login pages, see the User-defined Login Pages chapter.)
Language — Choose from active languages configured in the system. (See Language Settings for more information.)
Click OK to save the settings. The newly created site will appear in the site list.
How to Delete a Site
Sites can be deleted individually or in batches.
Single Site Deletion
To delete an individual site, follow these steps:
Navigate to System Configuration → Sites → Site List
Click the Edit Site icon next to the site you want to delete.
In the Edit Site form, click Delete Site at the bottom.
Confirm the deletion by clicking OK on both confirmation pop-ups.
Wait for the deletion process to complete.
Batch Site Deletion
To delete a number of site as part of a batch, follow these steps:
Select the checkboxes next to the sites you want to delete.
Click Delete Selected at the top of the page.
Confirm the deletion by clicking OK on both confirmation pop-ups.
Wait for the deletion process to complete.
