# Understanding Bulk Reactivate

## Overview

---

**Bulk Reactivate** allows users to restore multiple previously inactivated items in Encodify at once. This is useful for reinstating records that were temporarily removed from the module, without having to handle each item individually. By streamlining the process, Bulk Reactivate saves time, reduces manual effort, and helps maintain an accurate and up-to-date module.

Reactivation is available only if **Inactivation** is configured as the method for removing items from the list in [Module Settings](/v1/docs/module-settings#Features).

## Understanding Bulk Delete / Inactivate

---

> [!WARNING]
> **Note:** A user will need to have Read, Edit, Delete, Bulk Edit and Bulk Delete access to be able to reactivate an item.

### Where to find Bulk Delete / Inactivate

**Bulk Operations** allow you to perform actions on multiple items simultaneously, directly from a [workspace](/v1/docs/workspaces) or [module view](/v1/docs/module-views). To get started, select the items you want to work with. Once selected, the **Bulk Operations toolbar** will appear at the top of the screen.

**Bulk Reactivate** is available only for modules where **Inactivation** is used as the method for removing items from the list. To restore items, select the inactivated items and click the ![](https://cdn.document360.io/3a63e0a8-1221-4570-aaa1-d43f9b95a612/Images/Documentation/Screenshot 2025-09-14 at 13.13.13.png) **Reactivate** button in the toolbar. Once reactivated, the items will be added back to the module list and become fully accessible.
