Background jobs queue provides greater visibility over the progress and completion of these processes with the possibility to navigate to the result of the job execution. ## Understanding the Background Jobs Panel --- Currently, we will automatically generate a background job message to the initiated user for the following: - Import of inputs into [Creative Automation Print Studio](/v1/docs/creative-automation-print-studio) - [Bulk Operations](/v1/docs/bulk-operations) specifically Bulk Create, Bulk Edit, Bulk Change Status, Bulk Download - Merge PDF from an Inline Module - Merge PDF from Creative Automation Print Studio - Generating outputs from Creative Automation Print Studio - Download from the [Image Editing Tool](/v1/docs/image-editing-tool) - Download from the [Video Editing Tool](/v1/docs/video-editing-tool) - [Export](/v1/docs/export) from a module - Download a [Report](/v1/docs/reporting) - Run Converters - [Generate Missing Previews](/v1/docs/generate-missing-previews) - Clean Media Holders A system-generated background job will be automatically generated when given [Import](/v1/docs/import) template specifies a *User to Notify*. A background job message can only be deleted with the status: *Completed*, *Failed*, *Expired* or *Stopped*. Clicking the **Delete Job** button prompts the user for confirmation before removing it from the panel. Certain background jobs can be stopped using the **Stop Process** button within the background job message. This option is available for the following job types while they are running: *Module Export, Report Export, Run Converters, Generate Missing Previews*, and *Clean Media Holders*. Certain background jobs will display a **Download** button within the background jobs message. Downloaded files are retained for **24 hours** before being deleted. Certain background jobs include an **Open Module** button within the background job message. This option is available for *Item Imports* and *Bulk Item Change*, and navigates the user to a filtered search result based on the ***BatchID***.
