## Understanding Overlay Mode

When reviewing **document formats** (PDF or Office files) or **image formats** (PNG or JPG) in **Compare Mode**, you can switch to ![](https://cdn.document360.io/3a63e0a8-1221-4570-aaa1-d43f9b95a612/Images/Documentation/Screenshot 2025-03-24 at 21.50.21.png) **Overlay Mode** to highlight visual differences between the two versions. A variety of overlay colour options are available, including red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, magenta, white, and black, to ensure the differences are clearly visible.
