# Configuring Advanced Search

## How to enable Advanced Search

> **Note:** Advanced Search was previously known as Micro Search

To enable **Advanced Search**, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to **Site Configuration → {Module} → Field Definition**.
2. Locate the **Module Link**field you want to enable for Advanced Search.
3. Click **Edit**.
4. Check the box for **Enable Advanced Search**.
5. Click **OK** to apply your changes.
